  • Strengths: A good infrastructure comprising computer lab. ICT lab/Multimedia room, Home Science Lab, Science Lab well equipped class room and Music room.

All are highly qualified and trained. All are dedicated to their profession and perform their duties with great enthusiasm.

 

Community Support

Community support the functioning of the school. School has a functional SMC and functional SMDC. All the decision for the school are made by these committee. SMC have local area members also.

  1. Area counselor and 1. Social Worker, Educationists, Teachers and Parents. All are actively involved. They frequently involved. They frequently visit the School and give their suggestion time to time.

There is at least 1 monthly meeting of SMC. All the grants received by the school are discussed with SMC and spend according to their suggestions.

 

Dedication and Devotion of the Teachers

All the staff members are devoted to their profession. Their main aim is the holistic development of the child. Their main aim is to provide a learning environment and they all play the role of a facilitator to the child. All are highly qualified and they try to achieve and adhere to the vision of the school.

  • Weakness

Lack of Non- Teaching Staff

School requires more sweeper/Class IV employees, peon and more aaya at least to cater the needs of the school.

 Migrant/Labour Class

Most of children coming to school are either from migrant labour or from the daily earning families.

They lack resources and a study environment at home.

Most of children help in learning for their family and mostly take care of siblings also. So this is affecting their studies.

 

Weak Students

Students are academically weak

They need more time and concentration to learn little things.

Students sometime do not get family support.

 

Opportunities:

Support of Government : Being a Govt. Institutions it is fully funded by government. All activities all infrastructures is funded by Government to GMHS-11.

 Various Activities

School gets grant time to time for various activities that help in learning and awaring students and communities. A number of activities are going on in school like- Beti Bachao-Beti Padao, Swach Bharat Abhiyan, Remedial Teaching, Grievances Redressal Cell, Bag free day on Every Saturday for Pre Primary and Primary Classes.

 

Teacher Training

Various in-service training and seminars are conducted by the Education Department for various level (Primary, Upper primary and Secondary). Teacher get opportunities to refresh their knowledge and to get something new. Sometimes follows up programmes are also conducted.

 

Special grants for inclusive education

Various grants are released for CWSN that help them to develop their personality and to became an active citizen of the society.

 Remarks: Main aim of the school is to improve the academic level of the students providing a better learning environment.

  4. Administrative approval taken for kota stone for entire school from the Department.

  5. Facia repair and plinth protection work under progress.

  6. Budget passed for construction of new Ramp.

  7. Construction of Science Park under progress in the school.

  8. Medical rook well equipped with all necessary medicines as well accessories required (Wheel Chair, Electronic BP Machine, and Weighting Machine etc.)

Implementation Stage

Goal: To develop reading habits & skill and follow the instructions/syllabus of the class/standard.

Target: All students are able to read, write and express according to their strategies. Reading corner had been set up in primary classes, Grouping in the class students had been done, creative and high IQ students had been paired with slow learner. Teacher will identify the weak area and will work on them continuous counseling and interaction with the students.

Timeline: Continues process

Responsibilities : School staff ensure that all student can perform at least an average level in their academics

Monitoring: SMC/CRC/Headmistress will monitor the working. Various competitions are to be held

MONITORING AND EVALUATION STAGE

Goal: To develop regarding habits and skills and to follows the instructions/syllabus of the class standard.

SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT STRATEGY PLAN

FOCUS : 1 YEAR

Priority: Development of reading ability and understanding level of students.

Priority: to make the school as much competent to enrich the students reading ability and their understanding.

Priority : More use of reading corner in primary classes and inculcating the habit of self study in students, use of new technology for better understanding of children.

Time Scale: With a high pace in the starting then concentrate on it as an integral activity throughout the year.
